Tipping Pigs 3

A pygame-based serious game about resource management and ecological tipping points. You play as the Rahui — the environmental manager of a Polynesian island — balancing pig population, villager happiness, and ecosystem health before the island tips past the point of no return.

Overview

The game models a fragile island ecosystem:

  • Pigs breed naturally, eat vegetation, and cause tile degradation.

  • Villagers chop forests, adding to environmental pressure.

  • Degradation spreads via cascading effects and can trigger a permanent collapse.

  • Actions — sending pigs away or calling an emergency feast — let you steer the system back from the edge.

The player has 90 seconds to score as many points as possible without collapsing the ecosystem.
